2019-now
Lettre à: “Housing”
During my time at Cooper, and after presenting my masters thesis, I gained interest in teaching a studio on housing. When came the summer of 2025, I rehashed an old project, one drawn during the social unrests that started in October 2019. I redrew my proposal, a football stadium meant to reenact tensions between adjacent neighborhoods, as a housing project, both to dream and comment on a recurring exodus of beirutis from the city center to the suburbs due to inflation. Drawing housing, in this area of Lebanon, meant daring to dream despite forces of exile at play.
